About Holly
Holly Somerville is a Dublin-born artist specialising in botanical watercolours. She has an MA in Botany from Somerville College, Oxford and a BA in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art.
The Studio
Holly's studio is an hour from Dublin, in the Wicklow hills, where in addition to detailed watercolour, she works in soft pastel, and pen and ink. Cards of her watercolours are for sale on the shop page of this site.
Botanical Watercolour Painting Courses
From May 2012, we are running a series of summer Botanical Watercolour workshops in our newly refurbished studio, an old two-storey millhouse at Mount Slaney set in the rolling west Wicklow hills.
